Langgam Pos - Oppo Indonesia has officially introduced the Reno12 F Series, priced between IDR 5-6 million. This new smartphone boasts a durable build, strong gaming performance, and AI support.
Just a week after the launch of the Reno12 Series 5G in Indonesia, Oppo has unveiled a new variant of this smartphone line, the Reno12 F Series. There are two models in the Reno12 F Series: 4G and 5G variants.
The Oppo Reno12 F 5G with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at IDR 5,299,000, while the model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is available for IDR 6,199,000.
For the Reno12 F 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, the price is IDR 4,299,000. Pre-orders start on August 9, 2024, and sales will commence on August 17, 2024.
Despite being more affordable than the Reno12 Series, the Reno12 F Series is claimed to maintain high durability and AI capabilities.
Arga Bima Jaksana Putra, Head of Public Relations at Oppo Indonesia, stated that the reasonable price of the Reno12 F Series does not compromise its quality or durability.
"In terms of durability, the Reno12 F Series is reinforced with All Around Armour, a technology that protects the front, back, and internal components," said Arga during the Reno12 F Series launch at the Oppo Reno12 Pop-up Store, Ashta District 8 Jakarta, on Friday (August 9, 2024).

The Oppo Reno12 F features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, offering a screen-to-body ratio of 92.2 percent.
The Android device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W FlashCharge SuperVooc fast charging. According to Arga, the device can be fully charged in 75 minutes.
The Reno12 F Series comes in both 5G and 4G variants with different chipsets. The Reno12 F 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and two storage options: 256GB and 512GB.
In contrast, the Reno12 F 4G uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, with 8GB of RAM and a single 256GB internal storage option.
Camera Features of the Oppo Reno12 F Series
Both series have a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera features a 32MP lens.
Regarding AI support, Arga mentioned that the Reno12 F 5G includes AI features like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, AI Studio, AI Toolbox, and BeaconLink.
The AI capabilities in the Reno12 F are slightly limited, with features including AI Eraser 1.0, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, AI Studio, and BeaconLink.
The device is splash-proof and has an IP64 rating, ensuring that the Oppo Reno12 F remains responsive even in challenging conditions.
Collaboration with Moonton Indonesia
Arga emphasized that the smartphone offers strong performance ideal for mobile gaming. In conjunction with the launch, Oppo Indonesia has partnered with Moonton Indonesia.
